Problem to add my own terrain texture to worldbuilder?

Best Answer Glorfindel23, 25 June 2017 - 06:46 AM

Problem ending, I exported again the texture file.

After some test I can say than the problem was generated by the compression of the texture during the exportation, I just untick the case "compression".

Hi! I need help please.
I want to add custom terrain texture to worldbuilder I describe my path:

1) I created a folder "An Edain SubMod\art\terrain"
2) In it I put my texture file named "tstone_MTsubmod.tga"
3) In the folder "C:\An Edain SubMod\data\ini" I modified the file "terrain.ini" whith this line #include "\includes\Terrain_Submod.inc"
4) I created a files named "Terrain_Submod.inc" in folder "C:\An Edain SubMod\data\ini\includes" and in it I wrote:

Terrain MinasTirith01_Submod
  Texture = tstone_MTsubmod.tga
  Class = Type Misc
End

But when I go in worldbuilder I've this message:

Some help would be very helpfull.

try and remove the \ before includes

so this: #include "\includes\Terrain_Submod.inc"

becomes : #include "includes\Terrain_Submod.inc"

:thumbsuphappy:

Can you give the full path of the Terrain_Submod.inc file and the full path of the ini you put the include line in.

Yes sure:

My files Terrain original:

"C:\An Edain SubMod\data\ini\terrain.ini"

My file edited for mod:

"C:\An Edain SubMod\data\ini\includes\Terrain_Submod.inc"

My texture added:

"C:\An Edain SubMod\art\terrain\tstone_MT01.tga"

I maybe found the solution:
I think the problem was my texture because I added another texture than I took in the Edain terrain folder and I named her tstone_MT01.tga and it work.

So maybe this is the size of the picture of other thing which cause the problem.

Do you have any idea of how must I export the texture?
