Game: Red Alert 3 - latest Steam version (not from the Ultimate Collection)

OS: Windows 10 1703

I've been trying to play the co-op campaign with my brother. Everything went fine and we haven't had any issues until the point when we were about to start the mission. I.e. inviting is no problem as well as we can write and see our messages. But each time when we try to start the mission the in-game chat shows us the connection error 1-2 telling us that there are connection issues and it's not possible to connect to the other player.

We have already put RA3 as well as the C&C:Online Launcher onto the white list of our firewalls. Additionally we have removed "FirewallPortOverride = 16000" in "Options.ini" with no success at all. When one of us is trying to use VPN (Cyberghost) it's not possible to log in (connection to back-end server failed).

Here's the CNCOnline_Log.txt:

NAT negotiation works with your router and connection.
==> You do not have to use port forwarding.

I hope you can help me.

You need to find a different VPN for one of you to use and make sure it's working so you can get online and connect to other people. You can try googling for a different one in your area.

See this for some more ideas https://forums.revor...-1#entry1048770

securitykiss.com

One of you will need to use a VPN if you are playing from the same network, so obviously, that will need to work.
