I would love to play kanes wrath through revora again. since i switched to linux (and love it!) I'm wondering if there is any knowen way to get launcher, especially the hooking to work.
I already tried a few things:
- searched for solutions here
- set up a virtual machine, gave it a windows 7 with a new key and everything.. on the highest settings it still had been to slow to play. well you could. with 800x600 screen, minimal settings and lags you dont wont your worst enemy to experience
- wrote a tread in the linux mint forum ( and got a lot of feedback), its german though -> https://www.linuxmin...p?topic=42615.0
- checked winehq (english) -> https://appdb.winehq...rsion&iId=11395
So getting Steam and C&C to work will be no big deal. I've done that before.
My question is, is there any way to get the revora launcher with hooking operational? (the launcher worked the last time i tried, hooking didn't)
or does someone know a way to bypass the launcher and connect to the revora servers
or does anyone have a solution or idea how to get this to work without installing windows as a main OS ?
