Dear C&C Online,

I have a problem with playing Red alert 3 games with other players. I have right version (1.12) but people still can't start the game when i join any map. They just tell me that i FAILED to start and they kick me. I am trying to play Red Alert 3 for the first time online, so i am not sure what is causing this problem. Can you please give me any suggests what i can do or how i can check what is wrong with my game.

Best regards,

Saja

Hi there. Please could you run the connection test in How to Report Issues and post the result in here? This is probably an issue with your internet connection or modem.

You fully extracted it all into a folder?     It won't run if you try to run it without fully extracting it all.   I.e. If you try to run the compressed files.

It appears your router and/or connection is not capable of NAT negotiation.

From report i read, i probably need to use port forwarding and possible configure static port and i have no idea how to do that. I am using windows 10, 64bit. Can you please give me explanation or some link or video where i can fix this problem. Thank you very much

Port forwarding doesn't work well with RA3.       Your best bet is to set your computer as the DMZ (you do that from your modem).       The way of doing that will be specific to your modem.      We don't have any video on that but you will find many on YouTube.        Depending on your modem, you may also have to set a static IP address on your network card.     Hopefully you will not and can set the DMZ to work by reference to the card (based on its MAC address), which should make things easier.

Thank you very much for all your answers, i hope i will find solution and fix it :)

Biggest problem will be my dinamic IP address, there is no chance to change it :(

If you mean the dynamic address on your network card, you should be able to make that static (if you disable DHCP for the card). If you mean your dynamic public address, that shouldn't be any kind of problem.
