Neither of those are gamespy names. You only have to apply here if you had an old GameSpy name that you want to reclaim.
You do not need to have new names approved in here (see the forum rules, above). Just make your new name (by logging in with it in the Online ID box). If the name is not in use by someone else, that will create the name for you and it will be available to you in all supported games. If the name is already in use by someone else, the game will tell you. I will close this topic now.
