Could not connect to servers for C&C3 Kanes Wrath

I have downloaded revora, made an account. Bought and downloaded both tiberium wars and kanes wrath. My friend also has both as well. We tried to use revora to use online gameplay for kanes wrath. When we both tried to log onto the servers by putting in our new user information from revora, after about 10 seconds of trying to connect, it says "could not connect to backend server". Doe anyone have an idea on how to fix this issue?

Please could you post your error log; see How to Report Issues  for instructions.    Could you get your friend to do the same in a separate topic (it is easier to work that way).

When I use the information Revora told me to use as Username, and Password, it says "Could not connect to backend server." after I click log in.

If you need anymore information please feel free to ask. Hopefully this is enough to fix my issue to connecting online.

Please check that the IP address shown in Options->Settings->Network is an address on the network you use to connect to the internet (probably 192.168 or 10. something). If there is more than one address, select the other one.

Please let me know what you found.

Okay i did exactly what you asked. 

It was set on this:

10.0.0.8

I tried to connect online says "Could not connect to the backend sever."

 

There was a second number in the options:

25.11.179.222

I switched to it. Tried to go online. It said "Could not connect to the backend server."

 

I really do appreciate the response times. Thank you for your time. I hope this information can help resolve the issue at hand.

The address beginning with 25 is a Hamachi address, so you don't want that one.      The one beginning with 10 is the one you want (probably).    Could you try disabling the Hamachi driver (right click the start button, select "network connections" and you should see an icon for the driver, which you can right click and disable).

Okay, so i did exactly what you asked. I disabled hamachi. Tried to log in. Got the same backend server error. So i decided to completely get rid of hamachi just in case. It still said could not connect to backend server.

We obviously have a very major malfunction here because you're not showing in the logs at all.

Please could you run the connection test again, then try to log in again then post in here. I want you to run the test only so that I can get the IP4 address you are currently using.

Oh, just to be sure, please check the IP address shown in Options->Settings->Network and tell me what is says now.

Okay so I looked into the network connections. I do not have a hamachi connection anymore. It is only going through my house IP now. When i went onto C&C kanes wrath to log on. The IP in network on the game showed 10.0.0.8.

I need you to run the connection test again and post the results to get your external IP4 address, to see if there is any connection attempt from that in our logs. You are connecting to these forums using an IP6 address, so I can't use that.

Hello, I can play Zero Hour fine online but I have exactly the same problem with Kanes Wraith

My IP4 address is 10.0.0.8. I believe that is also what was showing on kanes wrath as my IP.

My IP4 address is 10.0.0.8. I believe that is also what was showing on kanes wrath as my IP. 

 

That is your address on your local network.       That is not your public address.     Please run the connection test and post the results in here.

This is what I need (like you did at the top of the thread)

 

If you cannot connect to other players, also do this:

  1. Disable port forwarding and DMZ in your router.
  2. Download the connection diagnostic tool here: http://server.cnc-on.../NATNegTest.rar
  3. Extract it into a folder and double-click on the .bat file.
  4. Copy-paste the output to your help topic.

Please do that immediately after you have attempted to go online.    That is just so that I can check our logs for a connection attempt from your current IP address (which I'm not seeing at the moment).

I am really sorry I missed that post. Can you try to log in again and then run the test again. It is a major mystery why you are not showing in the log at all and I need to be sure of that before we start looking at other things.
