I have been playing online for about a week or so, and then today it wont connect in game online for me anymore. Says unable to connect..

Read a few threads on removing some files but I don't have the files they are referring to.  Any feed back is appreciated.

Can you check that the "online IP" address in "Options" is an address on your local network. It should begin with 192.168 or 10. If it does, please could you attempt a log in and then post in here immediately afterwards and I will check in the server log to see if that shows anything.

Cutting a long story short, something is blocking you connecting to TCP Port 6667, which these game need.     Some providers block that as a matter of course (yours does not as far as I know) but many institutional providers do.     Are you connecting from an institution?       It is still something of a mystery why it worked and then stopped working.

 

If you have Windows 10, please could you open Windows Power Shell (type "Power Shell" at the start menu) and in the shell type this

Test-NetConnection peerchat.server.cnc-online.net -port 6667

and then post the result in here.        

 

Please could you also open a command prompt (type "Command Prompt") at the start menu and in the dos shell type "IPCONFIG" and post the output in here.

I have windows 7 and am connecting from home so I not sure what step to take next.

Can you contact your Internet Provider and ask them if they have blocked port TCP 6667?
