needs an update when trying to go online

Okay, I know everyones gonna tell me to run in admin and use Windows XP SP2 ive done that, doesnt work. Ive unistalled both games like 3 times, and using the full game with cut scenes, still doesnt work. I can play skermishes, just not online, any help please? for AOTR.

Have you installed the latest patch manually?

I also have the same problem. Today I re-installed the game from my disc so I can patch it myself and still i can't go to online 'cause it tells me I need to update

Reinstall the latest official patch from EA, then run as admin.
