Are you using Win 10?   If so, please could you open Windows PowerShell (type PowerShell at the start menu) and in the window type and enter

Test-NetConnection peerchat.server.cnc-online.net -port 6667

Then post the output in here.

It looks like the peer chat port (which you need to connect) is blocked.    As far as I know, your provider does not block that.        If you are not using Windows 10, it is going to be harder to test this.     It might be easier to start by asking your provider if they block TCP port 6667 and if they say no, look for something else.

In any case please check that you do not have any Hamachi drivers active.     Check that the IP address in Options Settings Network is either blank or is an address on your local network (should start 192 or 10) and that it does not start with 25 (indicating a Hamachi driver).

Any other suggestions for a fix?

You could ask you ISP if they are blocking TCP port 6667 and if so, whether they will unblock it. Otherwise, you could try using VPN. You should be able to find a free VPN easily (closer to you is better) but some are better than others so you might have to try a few. Google for one in your local area.

See this post for some options.

Some VPNs:

privatetunnel.com
securitykiss.com
