Please run the game as administrator and make sure you're not using Forshire's 'special editions'.

How do I now if im using Forshires special editions? I have the same issue, i cant go online because it constantly says to update my game even though im on patch 1.09 for BFME 2

Make sure to follow our guide here in the forum. If you have trouble with updates install the latest official patch again manually with the .exe installers from EA.
