Hello,

Good lord have mercy on my soul is this driving me INSANE...

I am running windows 7 and have all my CNC games on Origin. I have previously used this with CNC Online Launcher and had no problems.

Out of nowhere today I have tried to go on my beloved CNC3 Kanes Wrath... for NOTHING to happen. I log in to Origin as I normally do, launch the game, that then launches the CNC Online Launcher and I click Kanes Wrath as I normally do, it loads for a couple of seconds then nothing. It doesn't load the game at all. I have tried uninstalling/re-installing both Origin and the Online Launcher, I have tried running them as the administrator, tried launching the game from disc and nothing works, not even seeing the loading picture the game usually likes to do.

Unfortunately this is all the information I have as I don't have any error codes or anything to work with. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated!!

Quick thing to add... Origin does not seem to want to load anything however I only have CNC games on there, tried loading RA2 and it does nothing with that to, I have tried the whole disable origin in-game as well but still no success.

Update: So, I went through the repair process that sh*ty origin has, and it is finally launching the game but now it is launching and immediately closing and the message "Exception in exception handler" is displaying before it closes before not responding. Any help would be great!

You need to go to Origin with that one.     They will be far better equipped to help you.   I don't have the first idea what is wrong there or how to fix it but very likely Origin will have solved that problem many times in the post.     Please let us know the outcome though.

So... it took me 4 hours but I have figured out the solution, the fatal error, exception in exception handler displays an when there is an error with the graphics card, apparently 2014 and prior this is a common problem with games and an epic f*ck up from Microsoft... so to those out there incase they have this same problem.

If the game fails to launch through origin at all, simply repair the game through them and that will launch it. If you get the same error I did, you need to back-roll your graphics card to 2014 or prior. So I am running windows 7 and did this through the computer manager. Device manager, down to the graphics card I am running and then right click, properties and back-roll. Restart your laptop/pc then the game should work swimmingly.

All the best
