How to fix this issue here:

I bought the C&C Ultimate Collection on Origin. When I try booting any game in the collection (or the UC game itself) I get a direct x 8.1 or above error. I Have installed the latest updates for direct x. I have tried some launchers which were meant to fix the games as well with no luck. Any idea's how to get these games working? The one I'd really like to play again is C&C Generals.

 

Sorry if this isn't posted in the correct section of the forum. I wasn't sure where to post it.

 

I have attached my computer specs etc to the .txt file below :-)

I thought it might by an antivirus problem, so I turned them all off. I get a different error now.
