I am trying to use the C&C Launcher with the normal Steam RA3 I also have The Ultimate Collection on Origin, but I hooked the game to Steam.

The only error I get, if I even get one reads as follows: "CA public key patching routine failed."

I am using Windows 10.

When going through %temp% I found this:

----- C&C:Online Launcher Start -----
Game: Red Alert 3
Red Alert 3 Install Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Command and Conquer Red Alert 3\
Started game with: "RA3.exe "
Caught CREATE_PROCESS_DEBUG_EVENT from Red Alert 3. Detaching...
ERROR: game.dat process not found.

I read through a few of the other threads and made the shortcut before hooking, switching to Win7 compatibility, running as admin, but when I try to launch from the launcher all that happens is a pause, the RA3 window, Steam gives a message (attached), and if I click "OK" RA3 will close, if I don't click "OK" RA3 will still close within about a minute.

I have sent you a PM with a solution which we're testing. If anyone else wants that solution to try, please make your own topic and post your error log.

You shouldn't use the C&C:Online launcher to launch Generals or Zero Hour.   If you are playing only those games, you should unhook and uninstall the C&C:Online launcher and install GenTool.  When you have done that, you just launch the game from its ordinary shortcut.     If you are using the Ultimate Collection, you should install this first; C&C Ultimate Collection Launchers.
