First of all sorry if I'm reposting.

 

• I installed C&C Generals + Zero Hour The First Decade using an original CD with original Serial Codes.
• Updated generals to 1.08
• Installed GenTool
• Using Compatibility - Windows XP ( Service Pack 3)
• Installed C&C:Online

When I launch the First Decade game launcher the C&C:online launcher opens then I start zero hour from there. The game does not start, instead it gives me an error " Cannot locate the DVD-ROM, Please insert the correct DVD ...." 

 

Any help would be appreciated.

You should not be using the C&C:Online launcher to launch Generals or Zero Hour.       You don't need it if you have Gentool installed.      Try starting the game without that and let's see if it helps.

Yup that did, uninstalled C&C: Online, worked after that.

 

But actually only after changing compatibility to windows vista SP 2.

 

Windows XP SP 2 still has the same error  " Cannot locate the DVD-ROM, Please insert the correct DVD ...." 

 

Also when playing online I get that mismatch error.
