Hey all!

So I'm wondering how Wings of Coronia fits in as far as defined strengths goes. I'm looking for how they perform in areas like offense, defense, economy, area denial, harassment, flexibility, mobility, and the like.

Are there any WofC mains that have the time to give advice?

They're fast hitting subfaction, most mobile and all. They're so damn good with air superiority. Most of their units are windspin engine, even Zorb and Eureka.

Have Buzzard, Pteranodon and Alanqa together and you basically have your air death squad, provided you don't deploy that Alanqa close to the rest

So fast hitting, air superiority and offensive focus?

Doesn't Haihead already handle the "fast and hard-hitting" area? Aside from the fact that it's got more aerial units, how does WofC play differently than Haihead?

Well it's slower and has a little bit more HP I suppose, though with Megashield, the HP part is questionable. The ground department relies a lot on spinblade gimmicks.

Also, they don't have suicide units like MADMAN :v

They're good at flying.

The best way to play Haihead is pausing a MADMAN at 99%, putting a ton of engineers in transports, capturing the enemy's factory, and proceeding to nuke their base.

"How are they different?"
"Well here's a strategy Haihead utilizes but Coronia doesn't."

smh tbh fam

Coronia's hero is hot garbage unless you attack ground and hope the enemy units walk into the AoE. Because the deathball is in the air, unless you've got zorbs you probably don't have the meatshield like other heroes can have, plus she hurts friendlies, so she's pretty micro intensive to keep alive. If you're looking for heroes who tank everything and deal damage back like in Haihead, pass on her.

Haihead focuses on gimmicky stuff like suiciding diverbees, confusion, shadrays, and the megalodon shield buff. Pretty much all their units have some weird and unique quirk that can be utilized, whereas Coronia's quirk is more uniform as largely being amphibious or flying. You can out maneuver opponents this way, whereas Haihead is more hit n' explode.

That's a nice way of putting it.

yeah that basically it

haihead spam a bunch of guys go to your enemies base and fucking level everything the care about before supper

WoC is build up your army then move them in a straight line from A to B leveling everything that anyone has cared about while getting home in time for a good brekkie

its a grenade lobbed in a room of a house verses a carpet bombing on the same house

I have trouble using Cyclopseseseses properly. They don't have the HP of other tanks and so I lose to enemy MBT formations. Should I use them for harassment instead?

It's just a super support weapon used every now and then. TBH the usage is mostly just point and click when the resource and time is right.

Harbingers are useless vs AI because of the amount of units and defenses they have in their bases, and that the harbinger will most likely fall after 2-3 strikes because every AA unit will go after it

She doesn't count because her intended use was not to suicide. Her weapon is just bugged at times that it hurt herself.

Since no one has not mentioned it yet, Wings of Coronia excels against spammed weaker units because of their area-of-effect weapons (like Pteranodon and Zorbtrotter).
