Hello, I am looking for some assistance in connecting to the online servers in all of the Battle for Middle Earth Games. Each game after attempting to log in will inform me that it was unable to connect to, respective game, online. I have ensured that the gamespy code in the Options.ini  has been removed, and that the Options.ini have been made read only. The game works perfectly until I try to connect to the online servers, could someone please help me at your earliest convenience?

First, did you install the T3A launcher and are you launching the game via the launcher as admin?

Sounds like you could have another VPN adapter installed like Hamachi. Uninstall/completely disable it and try again. Also make sure the firewall allows the connection.

"To know what question we may reasonably propose is in itself a strong evidence of sagacity or intelligence. For if a question be in itself incongruous and begs for uncalled-for answers, it holds, sometimes, besides embarrassing the proposer, the disadvantage to seduce the unguarded listener into giving absurd answers, and we are presented with the ridiculous spectacle of one (as the ancients said) milking the he-goat, and the other holding a sieve beneath."

Yes, I did install the T3A launcher, and have all of the games hooked. So when the game is double clicked on the desktop it pulls up T3A, in which i click the respective game. Each game is also set to run as administrator through the properties settings, and I did have hamachi installed. I have just deleted it, but am still encountering the same issue.

I have a sneaking suspicion about what the issue might be. I am currently enrolled in a college campus, and of course am in a college dorm room. I believe that potentially connecting off the Campus WiFi may be causing the issue, and believe that the same thing might occur if I attempt to through LAN. This is probably because of various security and authentication settings College networks typically have.

PS. I also made sure that the game were allowed through the firewall.
