Hello,

I wish to extract certain BFME 2 maps (just the terrain) onto blender or 3ds max or any program that supports it. So I was wondering, can I simply extract them from Worldbuilder? I basically need them in .obj, how would I go about extracting them to 3ds max, so that I can convert them to .obj?

I don't think anyone's ever extracted BFME2 map terrain as a static mesh to edit in a modeling program.

I've moved your thread to the appropriate subforum.

Well, you know how to extract the BFME maps from the .BIG file, right? Using FinalBIG, which you can just search up. Sadly BFME files are hard to export and import, as I have tried with various models.

The only thing you can get from WorldBuilder is a height map that you can use to recreate the terrain height. From my experience is not that accurate. Also you don't have the terrain texture information, I guess this is out of the scope of what Worldbuilder was purposed for.
