Hello dear modders,testers and in general,members of the DOW modding community! My (user)name is Kekoulis,real life apothecary-in-training,faithful servant of the Emprah and part-time coder,tester and texturer in the making.

 

This thread has been created for the sole purpose of sharing my work on DOW that I do during my spare time with you,my brother and sisters.

Doing this grants me much needed experience required to improve skilled over-time and hopefully,allow me to do something breathtaking and beneficial for the game itself one day. :D

 Very nice you decided to do a thread with your work, much appreciate the share brother Kekoulis. However You do not need to credit me since I used [with permission] Hangar-8 work, he did the nifty face[s] you use so instead of me credit him would be fitting.

I love the Kekoulis mod, I think having characters based off Thudmeizer/Revora members is a fun idea.

I believe I found a bug with your Kekoulis mod where the assault marines/raptors from all marine races appear as pink boxes.

Really? Oh dear,I will have a look on it. Do not worry about it my friend. :) (Weird as this has not happened on me-I have not modified any of the Assault Marines or even the Raptors model files.)

Not at all. It was actually the space_marines_weapons that I did modify. No matter,I fixed it. :thumbsupcool: (Is this what we call an inheritance problem?)

Thank you a lot brothers Unsociallobster and fuggles for noticing it. i don't know how this escaped me. I am ao sorry for the inconvenience,I will upload a fix soon along with some exclusive textures for the WH Kekoulis and some STEELH RAIHN!!!

I love the voice, and the sniper is wonderful. I can't believe I forgot to add the Custom Sisters Mistress  to the mod. It will be added in the next update.

I will do some light modifications to the sniper, and add more stuff for him. Both Kekoulis units fit in good with their factions now. Good work Brother.

I've been testing your new Kekoulis mods. The witch hunter version will not start/load at all for me. The space marine version works great except some audio glitches; the building and units stay silent when constructed/spawned in game. There might be more missing audio if I remember correctly. I also can't get him to work for both races in Unification. I pasted the DXP2(For Unification) file into Unification/Locale/English. Do I rename it DXP2 and replace the original file as well?

Oh man,thank you for telling me! I uploaded a wrong version.This one is for my Witch Hunters patch. The fix is simple, go to Dawn of War Soulstorm\Witch_Hunters_Kekoulis\Data\attrib\racebps and delete the racebps folder. The witch_hunters_race.rgd contains modified units of my patch. In this way,you want be able to see Kekoulis in the Army painter. No need however,I have uploaded a fixed version with a workable Army Painter! https://www.mediafir...25c/Kekoulis.7z

However,I do not have any audio glitch with the normal version.Could you please send the Warnings.log of the SM version?

 

Concerning Unification,you simply add the kekoulis and witch_hunters_kekoulis as required mods in the Unification New Races module. The spawning buildings(Armorium/Inquisition Chamber/Orbital Relay are not modified by Brother Gambit at all in the Unification). I would upload mine,but each one of us has a different list of mods.

 

You paste the DXP2.ucs  in this path:Dawn of War Soulstorm\Unification\Locale\English and replace when prompted.

 

No matter,here is the fix. Seriously,I shouldn't upload my stuff when I immediately return from the gym...

Yep,it is as I have said. I accidentally uploaded the version for my Witch Hunters unofficial patch. Everything should work as intended now.

I like the variants of the possessed marine, I didn't know of their existence. The EC possessed it's pretty cool besides. Is it using some assets from Catwell's work? I recognize the World Eater head and the noise marine is pretty similar....what makes me wonder if there are some noise marines entirely in that fashion. I can't remember know.

Sorry for watering down you a bit but indeed there is a marine model with a proper sniper rifle. It's the tactical version of the codex scouts.

Here it is having the missle launcher but they have exactly the same weapons of the scouts, including the sniper rifle. They have the Mark IV armor though, so a FFE edition is needed to replace the helmets by another variant in case of more uniformity.

 

I don't know exactly who made them but they were included in Eternal confrontation mod (called recon marine, which is completely made up).

Possibly from deathwatch78, which I suspect means ripped from space marine.

Nah I don't think so, the model is based on the scout_codex, they have the same weapons and such. The mark IV helmet is from Black Templars, it's the only mod where I have seen it. The right pauldron is from the veteran_vanguard model. It's just a kitbashed thing, not a backported one.
