Hello, I want merge in the spanish distribution, the missions of bel with btcod in history chronological order, in total: 28 levels + 6 tutorial.

My questions is what executable or motor of the game is better: bel or btcod?

What should be better for the playing, use comand_mp.exe or commandos.exe ?

This determine what is better, play the bel levels on btcod, or play the btcod on bel?

COD of course, because BEL is lacking *all* the new items. Still, you can't port BEL over completely 1:1, as there is still a lot hardcodet elements which can't be changed.

In sense of scale? Taaa without a doubt BTCOD, More engagement, more wicked takedowns, game play combines new and old strategies indeed.

 

Mention that command_mps the multiplayer executable. Unless you focus on methodical, one-man-army play, you skip that.

In BEL not exist BCD features, but in BCD also not exist some features from BEL: bunkers, enemy artillerists etc. Also in BCD is weak machinegunners and worse vehicle damage logic.

So, in BCD possible only 21 missions, available by password. 22+ will be available only if finish 21 and press "next mission", but not by password. I dn't know, how it's in BEL.

The best version is Destination Norway for sure, it contains booth advantages.
