I want to remove the shield for the summoned Rohirrim allies. I managed to do that with the regular Rohirrim, but I can't remove it for childobject Rohirrim_Summon.

How did you manage to hide for the normal one? I remember in BFME2/ROTWK normal rohirrims do not have shields by default in any state (I'm not 100% sure they get it with heavy armor).
Have you checked the childobject? As far as I know you need to write specifically in the code to Hide a subobject (in this case the shield).
