Well the discussion has been going on in the C&C Reddit, CNCNZ and GameReplays forums after Greg Black tweeted about himself being back at EA after a few years at Blizzard doing some work on Starcraft II.

Although a Dune movie is in pre-production, a game to go along with the movie would be nice for the foreseeable future.

They are still writing the script, it's very early in development with pretty much nothing much done besides that.

 

In that regard it doesn't seem like EA has much to go on if they are planning a game right now, unless they are going back to the old source material of course.

 

But what will happen when a movie does come along and they are planning to make a series of Dune games. Will people compare it to the new movie, wondering why it's so different?
