I am unable to launch red alert 3. It gives no reason just "unable to launch Red Alert 3"  

my install path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Red Alert 3

If it says that, there must be an error log. Could you get it for us? See How to Report Issues for instructions.

so I think I have found the issue. according to the error log, the path where I have moved my game files does not match the program's install path. Is there a way for me to edit the install path in the program? I have attempted reinstalling the cnc launcher but am experiencing the same problem.

i solved that issue by recreatingg the install path but now i am getting the ca public key patching routine failed message

I HAVE SET IT TO RUN IN XP COMPATIBILITY MODE

Command.and.Conquer.Red.Alert.3.Multi4.Full-Rip ? We can't support pirated games here. It's not surprising that it doesn't work. Sorry, can't help you.

that was an old copy of the game but i didnt remove it from my registry which is what was causing the issue

I have since removed it and restarted with the authentic and it's working fine
