So when i try to go online it will say i need to update to play and so i go check for Updates. But then it doesn't work and says rise of the witch king patch error. Could not connect? Any ways past this?
Can't get past the Update for rise of the witch king to play online after Trying to check for update fails.

you have to run the T3A:O launcher as admin and that fixes it.
(Rightclick > Properties > Compability > Run this program as administrator)

It will just say the same thing i go into multiplayer, and then it says i need to update, so i close it and then it will say there are patches avaiable and then it says do you wish to download? and i click yes then it just does the same thing (could not connect)

And my TA3O is ran as an admin with the game hooked. Could it be because im using Forshires special edition of the game? will i have to switch over to the TA3O version to use it or what?

Install the latest patches manually as written in our installation guide here in the subforum.

Rise of the witch king will just ask for an update and then i click on update and then it says connecting to EA servers and then it just says failed to connect after 15 seconds. I know this works i just can't get passed that part.

Did you do what I asked you to? It's all in our installation guide.

I have patch 2.02 and 2.01 and all that but i still get EA server update pop up. do i have to replace a game.dat file or anything? (only for rotwk base game works fine with t3a)

Do you run as admin? You can try to manually install the latest patches again. And yes, use the new game.dat

is the new game dat download on the patch 2.02 page? and yes admin on it all. thanks for helping btw
got it working! just needed to re do the 2.01 patch for some reason. thanks for the quick support and thanks for all the great work you and the team do
