I can give you that name, but you need to get a new name (just make one up) online first.      Either that, or create a new nick name from the C&C:Online web site.    I can't give you the name until you've done that because the database won't be populated.     

 

I will leave this topic open for a short while so you can do that.      Otherwise, you can just make a new topic when you're ready.

 I changed my revora name to painterfox1 and went online using it. Is it enough just to touch the server and see the chat or do I need to start/join a game?

Oh, you've already got that name.:S Sorry, my mistake. You don't need me to do anything. Your name wasn't a gamespy name (I wrongly thought it was) so you didn't need to claim it. You can just carry on

I'm still getting "The specified online account name is already in use. Please try using a different one"  when I try "painterfox"  I have "painterfox" on the revora ID but I can't log in in-game as that.  I have to add some random numbers or something every time.  I think that is due to "painterfox" is being an old gamespy ID, but I could be wrong. In the revora account profiles I have, "painter_fox", "painterf0x", and "painterfox1" but not just plain "painterfox".    Yeah its sort of a silly thing to want to reclaim a zero win/loss account just to get the exact name, but here I am.

Oh my.  Don't apologise.     That is entirely my fault.   I have allocated the name to you now and you should be able to use it.     I didn't spot the zero in the painterf0x name.
