How do I need to purchase the game to be able to play it on the C and C servers? Can it be digital download or do I need to buy the discs? Can someone point me in the right direction for this.

Discs or digital download are both good on C&C:Online. You might have a some problems running some disks on Windows 10 but that is not a problem at our end. We don't support pirated software so you would be on your own with that.
