[C&C3 Tiberium Wars] ERROR: CA public key patching routine failed

Hello everyone,

 

First of all a huge Thank You to the Staff Members for keeping the online features of the C&C games alive.

 

Unfortunately, i'm currently struggling with the following error while starting C&C3 from the C&C:Online Launcher:

 

ERROR: CA public key patching routine failed

 

Said error shows up shortly after the Tiberium Wars splash screen appears in the middle of the screen, but before the game goes full screen for the EA logo. I attempted to follow the solution provided in the "[READ BEFORE POSTING] Common Issues & Solutions" Thread, but to no avail.

 

Here are the details of the case:

 

OS Version: Windows 10 64bit Professional

Game Title: Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars

Game Version: Normal (Origin)

C&C Online Launcher Version: 2.0.7

Error Log: Available as attached file

 

And a recap of the workarounds i tried so far:

 

- Hook the game to the C&C Online Launcher and start it from Origin

- Close Origin and start the game directly from the C&C Online Launcher

- Enable WinXP SP2/3 and Windows 7 Compatibility Modes on both the C&C Online Launcher and the game's executable

- Set "Run as Admin" as default for both the C&C Online Launcher and the game's executable

- A full Uninstall/Reinstall cycle on both the game and the C&C Online Launcher

 

Let me know if i missed some important details, any help with the issue is greatly appreciated.
