Hi all! I'm working on adding a new building to the game in the mod I'm making. I created the w3d file for built and building animations, I added a new .ini file in the object folder and i'm referencing the new .w3d file in it, but nothing shows up in game (either when building, or after it was built). I'm using gmax/renx when exporting the file to w3d. If I reference an existing random w3d file from the game, then the building shows. But when I reference mine, everything is invisible. I looked up tutorials on how to create buildings and build up animations, but none cover how to configure the ini file to reference the w3d file, or where to place the w3d file. Any help would be appreciated.

For that you will need to create an asset.dat

Thank you for the quick reply! As soon as I read your direction, I looked up tutorials about how to create an asset.dat file and found one that points to using Sy's Asset Builder. Now i'm encountering a problem adding my art folder to the program. I'm getting a forbidden symbol on my pointer as i drag over. Any ideas with that? Again, thanks for the help so far!

Try different compatibility options or different asset makers.

P. S. You can use the Snip tool to take screenshots of just the program.

Thanks for the tips. I ran the compatibility troubleshooter and it worked. I recreated the original asset.dat file (since putting only my files in a different asset.dat and adding that to the .big file of the unofficial 202 patch does not seem to work) and i got the model to show up in game including the animation, but i have no texture.... :|

P. S. I tried using Snipping Tool but i cant catch my own pointer while snipping. I wanted to show the pointer :)
