I am currently uploading RG - I'd like to do this as well?

Also Vostroyans, Praetorians and Night Lords (albeit this is very minor UCS changes)

Brother Fuggles, I am planning to release the new version Unification this weekend.

 

BUT the old Renegade Guard and especially the old Space Wolves projects, cause severe issues when combined with other mods...

Is there any chance of releasing our current RG and SW... SOONish??

From what I've seen, BOTH are ready for the players.

I thought Renegade Guard was released onto ModDB a couple of weeks ago? http://www.moddb.com...3-for-soulstorm

Ugh.. why wasn't ModDB showing it as being updated? It always shows when new DoW1 projects even have the slightest change.. weird... never knew until you posted a link.

Weird Indeed! I saw it.

Browsing as a guest actually. Apparently ModDB is really quite random. I've always thought so. Confirmed apparently. :boggle:

OK, this is really embarrassing... We missed one of our own releases!

 

It see we were all very preoccupied with the projects we were working at the time, so the RG release was a silent one.

... And I had the same issue with ModDB, it showed no updates of the RG page whatsoever...

So, I am downloading RG now - better late than never.

Will update Unification in accordance with the current version.

Space Wolves

The old 0.63 version was too "buggy", and was breaking things when combined.

Can we get a fresh new release soon? I am OK with it, the last time I played it it was a very solid experience.

As per my last. I still think there's mileage in combining it with the 13th, which equally should be released.

There are ... Conflicting entries, you mean?

 

Ah, do not forget to change Front-End model naming, the two projects have different FE models (of course), but with IDENTICAL paths and names. One of the two, must change the name of the model. It's that simple.

Just notify me, so that I will change it and put the proper name in Unification as well.

Re: Merging the 13th with SW.

 

Not right now please. That is a huge design change for SW especially since all of what gives the 13th personality will be absorbed. I firmly believe SW has enough there as a full SW faction mod to differ from the 13th which, by the lore, work as independents.

 

I would prefer we get one more SW build, ensure its good (like how we vetted RG), then we're ready for it. The way RG went was quite excellent and I quite like the end product.

I don't propose merging them as an army, just as a download. Anyway, 13th is ready to go!

Wolves... I have done a last build. I'm procrastinating whilst Roderick alters the blood claw model.

Well in a fashion... it won't ever be ready until it gets all new icons, UI bar, voices in-game, music, etc.. but in its current state it is solid now.

Brother Fuggles, can you post the paths for the FE models, for both the 13th and the SW mods?

I want to upload Unification 4.0 tomorrow, and I would like to have them in.

OK, brother Fuggles, similarly to the Ultramarines warning, I spotted 2 MINOR Space Wolves path "inconsistencies", in the following squads:

 

>>>>> space_wolves_squad_apothecary

It has an issue with trooper path: Data\attrib\ebps\races\space_marines\troops\wolves_apothecary.rgd

 

>>>>> space_wolves_squad_vindicator

It has an issue with trooper path: Data\attrib\ebps\races\chaos\troops\wolves_vindicator.rgd

 

The space_marines and chaos references in the paths are wrong.

Can you please update the trooper paths in those two squads???
