Ok decided to preempt this and got it down to two errors:

'art/ebps/races/space__wolves/troops/first_company_veteran_marine_cc': Missing game action 'flag_motion'!

'art/ebps/races/space__wolves/troops/rhino': Missing game action 'thrown'!
'art/ebps/races/space__wolves/troops/rhino': Missing game action 'thrown_getup'!

The above I can approach Kekoulis if he has time.

 

Btw, I take it Wolf Guard Terminators (Tactical and Assault) do not teleport?

 

A full vet of the project I could do if you guys want me to.

 

Remember, this is 0.75.

 

Oh and why does the SW Main Menu music is the same as the starting music when you commencing playing a map? Should it not be different?

Ok more advanced look..

 

To major issues actually playing.. seems all in order with some real minor issues..

 

1) I've managed to fix the Rhino myself so no more issues with throwing or being displaced by a large detonation.

2) Vehicles where treads do not move: Vindicator, Whirlwind, Land Raider Crusader, Land Raider Redeemer. Can fix these.

3) Units with no cover icons showing above them: Long Fangs+Sergeant and Vindicator. Again, can fix.

4) Void Claws (ie. Assault Terminators) mention they have Teleport ability but it was disabled due to requiring an invalid research. Should they still be able to teleport? Based on their UCS, they should.

 

Gather I should fix this all up (and ask Kek if he can put a quick flag plant motion for the Blood Claws although their Sergeant is fine) and release a 0.76. <^_^

For 1] SW Turret Addon references and for the 2] 'space_wolves_flamer_dreadnought' that has a prereq that doesn't exist:

Those are wrong paths, yes, but the engine IGNORES paths, and gets straight to the name of the actual rgd.

The paths are only there for MACRO reasons, as well as easier coder reference.

I have created 3-4 macros that scan the races and I stumbled upon those wrong paths and references more often than not  :thumbsdownsmiley:  ... I had to do it by hand!

Suggestion: PLEASE revert those paths to the proper folders (those of the race)! We need to keep everything neat and consistent.

 

 

For all other issues

Whoa man, you did some heavy play-testing!!!!

Please catalogue them, and we will eventually fix those one by one :grad:

 

 

To testers: Guys... It is counter-productive for us (coders) to spend time cycles on testing!

 

 

 

P.S.: Thud, I have already had a couple more tester requests for DA.

Let's hope I will be able to "utilise" those brothers to other projects as well :twisted:
