So it seems that Act 2 is about to be finished soon with only 2 more additional missions TBD for each side ( and with a few more side missions for the Foehn) and that kinda made me wonder if there is a 3rd act in the plans, it would be very sad if MO's storyline will end at act 2 and no more new campaigns will be made :(

IMO there should be a 3rd act with 12 missions for each side including the Foehn which would sum up the story with an original ending.

I think the Soviet/Allied story is going to end and it will be Epsilon/Foehn from act 3 onward. Allied story will definitely end because it seems Yuri will be successful in activating the Mental Omega. Soviets will probably meet the same fate.

 

My question is: will there be Foehn co-op and covert ops?

Yeah, the last mission titles are already the inevitable for the Allied and Soviets. But still:

I believe that future of Foehn missions will be compiled under two or three batches like Origins of Foehn, Rise of Foehn etc. Tough, I have no clear idea about the rest.

I believe that other factions, Allies and Soviets won't be totally annihilated by the "Yuri's Tower". There might be "remnants" scattered around the world, either joining Foehn or forming their own strongholds(Fallout-wise). But at least Epsilon deserves more missions during fight against Foehn.

If remnants of other factions are going to exist "independently" maybe they will have missions listed under a separate title like "covert ops" such as "the Aftermath" or "the Remnants" etc.

Anyway, devs might not want that much of a granular subdivision and list them under the Act 3 simply.

In short, the story will go on for the rest, but not in the classic way that we got used to, I believe.
