Hey all!

I had been thinking about custom t-shirts, mugs and the like on Zazzle, and I figured it might be cool to have custom stuff with subfaction logos on it (I'm specifically thinking Foehn here but any of them would be cool)

BUT

Obviously there's the fact that I didn't make these logos myself, and if I made and sold this stuff on Zazzle I'd be making cash off of someone else's work/property/rights.

So my question is: What do we all think about this? Does the Mentalmeisters team own these logos entirely? Are they the property of the artist? Would they allow someone to make and sell custom stuff with those logos?

Please be patient with me because I totally want to respect the creator's rights and I am not trying to tread on forbidden ground here.

And I would totally flip over a Haihead t-shirt.

someone from China already did such a thing, the Foehn Logo as far as I know is from another mod called Reign of Steel which allowed MO to use the logo they had for the foehn.

I did a thing and commissioned a local flag manufacturer to produce the Last Bastion and Wings of Coronia flags.

I wonder where one can use them. Like seriously. Put a flag on your car's back window? Put it on your room's wall? Raise it over your house?

I think someone should consider making 3dprinted/LEGO models of MO units, it's always nice to have something from your favorite game on your table/shelf.

I collect flags from the places I visit or stay for a period of time. Usually I will store it in a drawer but sometimes I will raise it in my house or inside my room, got myself a spare flag pole when I was in Japan.

I did get my hands-on 3D modelling in a form of SketchUp and importing it into a city building game (Cities Skylines) so I can build a military base. Currently I am modelling the Tesla Reactor.

I think something like p_cat's sprite art of Mental Omega missions would sell well, if the community was larger. They have a "collectible" quality to them, kind of like how people might collect movie posters.

Knightframes would also make great action figures. You could also have plastic models of heroes like Volkov.

Those flags are so cool!

All I'm asking though guys, is would I be doing something wrong if I generated and sold MO merchandise through Zazzle?

Don't generate MO-themed merchandise for commercial purposes.
