Hi guys, if anyone sees this

 

I was trying to get the RA2 mission movies into the mod, as unfortunately the download link is now dead. the usual method of copying the movie .mix files into my folder didn't seem to work however, do I need to rename these to something specific for the mod to pick them up?

I was able to get this working following the tips here:

artmd.ini offers clues

 

couple of steps:

 

1. extract all moves in movies01/02.mix

2. rename all .bik files to have an  _ra2 suffix in the filename (dont overwrite the .bik extension though obviously)

3. repack all files in a expandmd80.mix, copy into RA2 directory after enabling mod, or copy into the mod files repository

I'd still be after the tiberian sun ones though if anyone has that working

Did you ever get the tiberium sun movies working? I guess its somewhat moot as its just the Nod campaign presently, but it'd be nice to have them

 

PS. I've been coming back to this mod since i first found it (Which I think must have been about version 1? Pre-Ares), easily the best way to play old school C&C, love what you've done and me and my friends eagerly await any updates for our LAN sessions

Yes, I have all TS movies converted but in total is aprox. 3.6 GB of .bik movies and I don't remember if .mix files have any size limit. (and after all this time NOW I remembered that I could split these files in more mix files like I did before).

sorry to resurrect old thread but I cant seem to get this to work.  Any tips?  Is it not compatible with 1.5

Wait until the monday aprox. and I could reupload the ones from RA2 & TS afapted for C&C;Reloaded 1.4.0 and newer versions.
