I haven't been able to play online yet because Generals ZH keeps notifying me that the game I'm trying to join is a different version. It seems like everyone's server version is 1.04; I checked what version I was on in the options and it says my version is 1.04. I'm the same game version as everyone else yet I still can't join any games. Any advice?

Make sure you're running the game with Windows XP3 compatibility and as administrator. If you don't, you will experience the symptoms you have described.

Does it have to do with the fact that I run the game with The First Decade and with windows 10?

plus it doesn't even give me the option to run the launcher as administrator
