Kind of a weird topic, but I'm curious: How was the Invader disk's laser modified to need almost no charge-up time, unlike the vanilla YR Floating Disk? Even on the slowest game speed and high detail level, it's practically an instant shot, but still shows the ring effect. I also notice that the actual damaging laser seems to come from the center as opposed to the outer edge of the disk.

The ring effect is now an SHP "animation" instead of engine-generated laser effecf that would delay the laser.
