For the Apothecary's Grav Pistol I did some research and watched some videos on the Gravgun in other mods, and the fx for them did not fit the lore on Grav - Weaponry. So I made some fx's that showed ambient particles and ground particles being pulled into the grav barrel which puts devastating pressure on the enemy armor crushing them from the inside.. also helps when you have a guardian skull sending bolts down range too...lol

I am not sure if I want to add more to it but just interested if its realistic you are very limited on what you can do in dow1 but still a good game. Below is a video of the firing animation on a loop for testing take a look if you want.

Damn!!! Very good visuals and animation and FX :xcahik_:

I will have to code those as if to "lift" enemies - but the engine is very strict... :p

I have a idea on the hit events, not sure if I can pull it off. My thoughts were to make some fx that surround the enemy and applies a level of distortion to the models to give it a crushing aspect. But not sure if it will work or look funny as shit. Ha ha

Damn!!!! Eye-candies!!

The river of lava has also asymmetric lava flow

Such visuals are always motivating and makes you consider the possibilities....

So, my mind inescapably explored one:  If real-life permits - and we will be here at the time - I want to make a single-map campaign MUTI-PLAYER with the DeathWatch on such a map!!!

I am thinking something like: Each player controls a specific DW squad, and all cooperate to finish the mission :evgr:

A lava map, with hazards and terrain "irregularities", would be AWESOME for this!

Let's finish the DW first. ;)

Gambit you read my mind single player campaign would be a kick in the pants. Dude idea floating around not sure how multiple player mode works never tried to play against anybody on line ever but a death arena or which cult arena mod would be sweet. Maybe just a pipe dream anyways kind of enjoyed Dark Nexus the few times I played before they shut it down.

Brother DW, please write down WHATEVER ideas you have, regarding a possible mission/story.

I am very good at coding a mission, but I am not a writer, so the theme or plot are better left to those that are more close to the fluff  :p

You will be creating the map, so we could utilise certain sceneries BASED on the plot - for example an ambush on a hill, a volcanic eruption damaging parties, lava blocking the way, etc :grad:

Dude idea floating around not sure how multiple player mode works never tried to play against anybody on line ever but a death arena or which cult arena mod would be sweet.

Well now that I have perfected Survival and KNOW how to make an MP campaign VERY possible, I say why not exploring the MP Campaign approach!

Maybe just a pipe dream anyways kind of enjoyed Dark Nexus the few times I played before they shut it down.

Ah, I see.

Relevant, so let me say that recently I coded a Last Stand MP mode (up to 4 players), and I played it with my brother and a friend... AND WE LIKED IT AS HELL!!!

So once we have concluded with the Alien Hunters, the Deathwatch campaign follows!

I am glad we will have so many hardpoints and upgrades and members to teams, they will come handy customising and giving flesh to the campaign!

Spectacular! Those are fully voiced but I gave all the final voices for them to Fuggles as Centurions can play a major role for the Imperial Fists due to their Siege specialties!

Regardless, Ordo Xenos / Deathwatch voicing has already commenced (Corvus Blackstar and the Stormtroopers+Sergeant are done now) and the rest will soon follow.

There are two flavors of centurion suits, you know: the assault and the devastator, their pilots are picked from the corresponding squads.

What are meant to be? A middle step between terminators and dreadnoughts? Some features better/worse than the former and worse/better than the latter and conversely?
