Just discovered an upcoming game called Partisans by a small Russian development team in Moscow, which looks a little like Commandos. Maybe some people here will be interested.

Looks dope. Anyways bear in mind, anything that doesn't have Commandos in its name, isn't gonna be a proper successor by any means. Good to have a studio to explore the concept.

It looks nice, but I do hope that they'll have an English version on release (my Russian is non-existant ) and with regards to the look and feel, that the backpack icons aren't black-and-white as in the current pre-alpha gameplay footage, but actually fully colorised graphics.

@Zakxaev68, I think at this point even a game with Commandos in it's name does not guarantee it being a proper successor. We have to wait with hope, but also support any similar games coming out in the meantime.

@Maurice1976, I am not russian as well so i too hope for English But i daubt they would release it without it.

I'm pretty sure they'll make an English version, if they didn't they'd be missing out on a lot of sales.

Yeah, censorship in games is rarely welcomed, and any mods to overcome that helps a lot. Unfortunately though, demo is no longer available, can you maybe share your thoughts about the game with us and how does it compare to other titles of the genre?
