Yes I think Pikemen usually deal out SPECIALIST damage.

To find a unit's speed find its object definition and look for 'LocomotorSet'. Then change the 'Speed' value in your mod.

Unit cost is set by 'BuildCost'

Damage is set by the Weapon in question e.g. for Gandalf's main weapon in vanilla the GondorGandfalf object in gandalf.ini specifies his main weapon as 'GandalfSword'. Find this weapon in weapon.ini and then change the 'Damage' value in the DamageNugget in your mod.

In BFME1, I have decided to look through the INI files (of the Shadow and Flame mod specifically), and mod my game to suit how I want to play it. (Though i have had years of memories with the 1.00 Vanilla version, its time for something new) I need to know some of the jargon for attack and armour.

Note: I know it has been a while before anyone has worked with SaF. Keep in mind I don't want to release this mod to anyone but myself. Thank you for the patience and help with this, as I am a newbie to modding.

Attack types

I have looked through and my definition of some of it seems to be flawed.

What I think:

Pierce: Archers

Slash: Swordsmen

Crush: Obviously Cavalry

Specialist: Spearmen?

Also, some things I don;t know where to find, such as:

Unit Speeds

Unit Costs

Unit Damage values

If you could point some things out that would be nice.

I see. I have also found the "water.ini" (in the Default folder) to have useful info on specific damage values, not just percentages. So thanks for the info.
