Problem identified. Here's the support message of Privatetunnel:

" Hello,
Thanks for trying the service, yea we do have access controls that block the higher ports.
We are working on some new features though that will make it more flexible.

Cyberghost (another VPN client) doesnt work as well.

This VPN works in a good speed: Feste IP -  http://www.feste-ip.net

Select FIP VPN - buy an IP Adress - and implement a VPN-Tunnel for MS-Windows

Download OpenVPN and copy the config files that you downloaded from FIP Website to your OpenVPN Config folder. You can find the folder by selecting OpenVPN in your task menu and go to options -> advanced ( Einstellungen Erweitert)

Start your FIP connection via OpenVPN and check if incoming UDP connections are allowed via this program (Trial version is free) : 'Port Forward Network Utilities'   - select port checker and UDP port 16000. Maybe you need to forwardthis port in you router and grand OpenVPN and C&C internet access in you r Firewall. Then you can enter this port in C&C options - you may find further help in this forum.

Hello All,

I play the Origin Zero Hour Version

I have a DS Lite Internet connection - therefore I cannot open UDP ports

I configured Port forwarding in my Router and set Firewall authorizations - which didn't let me connect to Zero Hour online Games

I tried OpenVPN in combination with a VPN - Tunnel at FIP -VPN  --> that worked - PFPortchecker showed that my UDP 16000 port was reachable --> Online Games worked  but too slow

I then tried PrivateTunnel --> I removed the 16000 static port from CC options -->  it worked  to connect most of the time however PFPortchecker showed that  UDP 16000 port was NOT reachable --> it worked only for some time but after reinstallation of C&C I only get it to work for 1v1 games - I tried everything but with no success. - I really dont know what i am doing wrong. I use the current Origin english version without patch (I guess its already patcht to 1.04)

Here's the test with PrivateTunnel connection activated (Firewall open - Port forwarding confifured on Router)

Using server nntest.cnc-online.net:30000
Bound to local port 56266
Bound to local alternate port 56267
Resolving hostname 'nntest.cnc-online.net'...
Resolved server host to be '37.247.49.213'
Sending client INIT from port 56266 to nntest.cnc-online.net:30000
Received server INIT [851088]
Our public address is 85.159.233.119:56266
Sending client INIT2 [851088] from port 56267 to nntest.cnc-online.net:30000
Received server INIT2 [851088]
Our alternate public address is 85.159.233.119:56267
Sending cient START [851088] from port 56267 to nntest.cnc-online.net:30000
Received server START [851088]
Server extra port is 40000
Sending client PING [851088] from port 56266 to nntest.cnc-online.net:40000

===========
  FAILURE
===========
Failed to receive any pings from nntest.cnc-online.net:40000.
It appears your router and/or connection is not capable of NAT negotiation.
==> You will need to use port forwarding and possibly configure a static port.

When disabling PrivateTunnel I get the following test result:

Using server nntest.cnc-online.net:30000
Bound to local port 61464
Bound to local alternate port 61465
Resolving hostname 'nntest.cnc-online.net'...
Resolved server host to be '37.247.49.213'
Sending client INIT from port 61464 to nntest.cnc-online.net:30000
Received server INIT [455759]
Our public address is 95.222.212.84:40488
Sending client INIT2 [455759] from port 61465 to nntest.cnc-online.net:30000
Received server INIT2 [455759]
Our alternate public address is 95.222.212.84:40627
Sending cient START [455759] from port 61465 to nntest.cnc-online.net:30000
Received server PING(1) [455759]
Received server START [455759]
Server extra port is 40000
Sending client PING [455759] from port 61464 to nntest.cnc-online.net:40000
Received server PING(2) [455759]
Received server PING(3) [455759]

===========
  SUCCESS
===========
Received 3 pings from nntest.cnc-online.net:40000.
NAT negotiation works with your router and connection.
==> You do not have to use port forwarding.
Drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste . . .

Glad you’ve solved the issue.

My apology that no one responded to your post. :c
ToxicShock probably missed the support ticket, since this was posted before I returned to the team.
