Hello revora forum.

I have problem with object editor.

I want add animation of grey knight, when they are capturing point.

But object editor need epbs files so I converted that whe file with Mudflaps_WHE_to_EBP_Converter. IT converted succesfuly.

Problem begins when i try to open it in Object editor.

I simply put it in w40k\data\art\ebps\races\space_marines\troops\grey_knight.whe it just say me like that it's outside from all known projects.

So i put it also in my_mod folder and same path. Also it tell me same think.

Then i put it in mod tools folder. There was many folders which did same think "outside from all known projects."

So only one folder remains. DataGeneric. In DataGeneric is famous folders like w40k Dxp2 and so on.

SO i copied that file with correct path.

Then i try to load it and It just give me a crash message.

My system is Windows 10 64bit version.

If you can please help. Thanks for any tips.

Yes, that's right, the proper place for EBP source is DataGeneric

But the origin of your problem is the using of  Mudflaps_WHE_to_EBP_Converter. It works only for very simple files (which are without x-references).

The second moment, OE generates its own log files, where sometimes you can find additional information about crash reason.

Did you also place a dummy SGM file in there?

Nope.
I believe it comes with the whe to ebp converter, you just have to copy it to where your EBP file is and give it the same name (grey_knight.sgm or something like that).
Object editor should then open the model as a pink box, but load all the animation structure for you to tinker around.

Ok. So just rename that grey_knight.ebp to grey_knight.sgm?

No.
Just download this file, put it in datageneric and rename it to grey_knight.sgm.
Leave the ebp as grey_knight.ebp.
