Red Alert 3 can't connect to friend in Co-op

It’s possible this may have been caused by an issue with the master server.
Seems there were issues with the server today regarding lobbies.
Can you please try again.

Me and my friend are trying to play Red Alert 3 co-op and we found CnC online was what we needed to use to play together so we downloaded it and watch a guide to set it up properly, we've been able to login and add each other as friends as well as talk and invite each over to the co-op game but when we accept the invite nothing happens and the invite disappears we've tried resetting the game but still the same thing, we have made sure to allow the game and CnC online to go through our firewall and still doesn't work

I assume you guys have tried a second invite after the first failed attempt?

Sometimes Co-op lobbies works a little weird on the first try.

Yeah we tried for about an hour or so before we gave up and played solo stuff

Wonder if Skirmish will give you both the same issue, have you tried that as well?

You can password lock the lobby if you don't want others to join.

 

Wonder if there's any connection errors or so occurring preventing you both or one of the two from playing online.

Yeah we tried to hos a game in online mode but it wouldn't allow me to create one
