Because i simply dont trust the words of others, and theres been couple of rumors, i want to make it clear.
Will there be Act 3 eventually? Since the rumors say something like "theres wont be act 3", "the next update will conclude the story" etc etc...

For me its just some non-checked lies. So i demand Speeders answer, as an author of global MO plot. This topic had to be done eventually.

Well, logicically there must be a third act, no doubt. Where else could the Foehn story line unfold itself ? Act II will end with a failure of the "good" guys, the "slightly bad" guys and the "really bad guys" will win.

The problem is that if there is going to be an Act3, Speeder will make a big announcement for it, I guess.

But I'm inclined to believe there will be a third act, but the only playable faction will be Foehn.

There are clues, if you know where to look. For instance, Speeder's stance on Yuri's Revenge, that Yuri not having a campaign was a wasted potential, or when he announced Side Four, he said they will have at least a full 12 mission campaign too. Things might have changed since then, but I'm sure it will still happen.

Act 3 will be announced if and or when Act 3 is relevant. Speeder doesn't have to answer any question until he deems it important to be answered, and considering we're not even done with Act 2 yet, I'd say it isn't relevant. Consider that we didn't even know anything about Act 2 until after 3.0's initial launch.

 

Stuff is revealed when it's necessary, not when the fans demand it.
