Hi Guys & Girls,

 

my buddy cant connect, its always kicking us back in lobby when gamestart.

he can join my game, we played very often but suddenly his comp has problems...

(no physical changes/ router etc, all other games work well)

 

ISP: Unity Media / Kabeldeutschland (100k) (ping to www.google.de = 14ms)

Router: TL-WR841N v9 (+ new firmware)

System: win7 sp1

Game: origin cnc zero hour 1.04 eng (downloaded original version)

addons: gentool, leatrix latency fix

launcher: revora

 

Game-> is running without probs and in 1600 x 900 (options.ini is uptodate)

 

1.We tryed the connection tool "NATNegTest.bat" it says -SUCCESSFUL-

2. We opened:

TCP Ports 80,6667,28910,29900,29920 UDP Ports 432,127,900

+++ UDP/TCP 9000

3. Firewalls all off (Router & Windows)

4. deinstalled the KB3086255 Windowsupdate (only for last chance)

5. renewed all Drivers (with driverbooster)

6. cleaned out the winstart (msconfig)

 

BUT nothing...

 

any idea? i tryed to fix it via teamviewer for 3hrs, i think his ISP blocks ICMP, but they said no.

 

only problem we had is opening port 80, the router gives a notice (maybe thats the problem)

Hello PROLDTIMER,

 

sorry for the late response,

I got the same issue back when CnC ZH had its original servers and I know the feeling.

 

I also tried many things but got to no solution.

 

You friend got Windows 7 but maybe this video will provide some help for you guys.

 

It certainly helped me out back then and it still does today when I got problems with my connection.

 

It's a video from DoMiNaToR and it really shows all possible ways to establish a connection for CnC ZH Online.

You should give it a try!
