Hi everyone,

While trying to join this awesome community, I came across an annoying obstacle.

When following the guides, everything works fine until I try to connect to the servers - at which point RA3 gives the "Cannot Connect to Backend server" error.

Seems like the connection is ok, and there are no significant errors... The issue persists even when my firewall is off.

Any idea where to start looking for a solution?

System Specs:

Windows 10

Red Alert 3 on Steam

Avast Antivirus

Couldn't find the solution for this error here:

https://forums.revor...sues-solutions/

Error logs output:

Sounds like it's still trying to connect to the official server.

I'll sent you an experimental tool which we are testing, can you please check if that'll solve the issue for you?

Would be interesting to hear back on this because for me it's the same... attempting to sign in to GameSpy (*obviously this cannot work)... -> returns error message: "could not connect to the backend server"

What do I have to fill out for EA Account Name (currently I am using my revora registered email address)? What do I have to use for my password (currently I am using my revora password)? Do I have to fill something in for my online ID (what??)

You have to log into the server with your login credentials from here.

Even if the password was incorrect, you wouldn't have gotten that message, this message rather indicates you're trying to connect to a non-existing server(official gamespy server).

I'll sent the tool to you as well bumpy_flapjack in the hope it'll solve the issue you're having.

Remember, it is an experimental tool and might not work as expected.

Please follow the instructions accordingly.
