So I just started playing Red Alert 3 with C&C:Online and try out the online feature to see if I can play Co-op mode with a friend of mine. And it appears that everytime I tried to log in with my credentials, it just keeps saying that the game could not connect to backend server. Even if my computer's firewall has been turned off and I already hooked the game with the C&C:Online launcher, I keep getting the same ol' error at every login attempt.

Make sure you hook Red Alert 3 in the menu on top of the launcher app first. http://prntscr.com/k2ig9f
Then close the launcher and start Red Alert 3 by shortcut or Origin/Steam client.
Click the Red Alert 3 button, that should do the trick.

I already did that, and I ended up launching the game without having to launch the C&C:Online launcher first. Is that suppose to happen? Regardless, I'm still having the same issue of being unable to log in due to being unable to connect to backend server.

I'll sent you our experimental launcher.

Hopefully that'll solve the Backend Server issue or other future problems that might occur.

You should receive it in a few minutes or so in your PM inbox.

Well shoot, not even that solved the issue. Is it probably because I'm running on Wineskin? Call me a dummy, but if that was the real issue behind the error, then I guess I should've told you that in the first post.

I'm not sure how Wineskin works since I'm not an Mac user myself.

Is it an emulator that emulates Windows by ISO or other methods?

If it's an full Windows 7/8.1 or 10 OS I could sent you an experimental launcher, then again... I can't confirm it to be a working fix.

Okay, so I did some research by looking at the archived forum posts and it appears that running Windows via Boot Camp should make it work properly. I guess I should've looked harder before posting this thread. I'm trying it out now...

Some team member said a while ago that he'll look into it but really there was never an answer. I guess the solution wasn't found which is sad :(

Phil is rarely seen on the forums...

If I had an Macbook or iMac (even if it was refurbished) I would have happily experimented with C&C: Online on Apple computers. :c

That's the problem I'm having. I don't really want to install Windows on my MacBook to play C&C. It plays great under Wine but I can't go online :(

Damn GameSpy, why have you died...
