Hi guys,
 
Does anyone know how to import the .exe options from the BCD tutorial to the .exe coman_mp ??
As you may already know, the tutorial.exe has the option to insert the night mode in the maps with the code. ILUMINADA 1 or 0 (on / off), I recently discovered how to turn on the light bulbs in the maps and they would really look spectacular if we could decipher the code that activates night mode.
 
I'll leave some pictures of the lights on and a photo of the tutorial executable.
 
The light bulb on this map has movement.

Have you ever tried "my" CTF mod? -> https://forums.revor...-night-special/

There is a mission in the dark in that. I know it installs a "mod.exe" that is 2,84MB in size. But if it is the comandos..exe or tutorial.exe.

 

---> Fuck it, I just installed and mod.exe is the exact same size as tutorial.exe. That's what they used.

Hello, if I remember this mod, I even think that you sent me the mod by email.
 
The point is that, as you say it. They only changed the name of the executable but it would be fantastic to carry out such a thing to the executable of the complete game.
 
I will continue testing with the numbers of intendencia and the configurations .MIS that has that beta map.

If it's my new mod, in reality I've been working on it for many years but due to circumstances of life, I had to put it aside. But I've taken the mod back a couple of weeks ago.

By the way I saw your mod in moddb and you have some beautiful maps in the SINP style. (except for 2d maps that look like pokemon from gameboy color)  :whatoa:

If it's my new mod, in reality I've been working on it for many years but due to circumstances of life, I had to put it aside. But I've taken the mod back a couple of weeks ago.

Yes , I noticed your mod long long ago , but no files to download all the time ....

So after I finished all CM1 mods I can download , I began to make MOD myself

Now you came back . Looking forward to your new MOD...

But very pity , less gamers care about Commandos 1 MOD

It's very hard to promote CM1 mods....

.

Those beautiful maps in SINP style are all made by 555. Not me.. 

You saw my 2DmapMod , as you see , only Map Mission 1,2,3 were drawn by myself

I have no much time to make Maps , so I began to download 2Dmaps from internet to make New Missions

Even in Chinese less Commandos gamers like 2DmapMOD

Im glad to see that more than 200 times downloading in MODDB

So I will continue making my MOD

.

Now I learned something new , so I intend to make new maps with official graphics

I'd like to try to make new maps to do my new MOD....

Maybe they will play my MOD just because of new Maps

I am glad that you continue to work on your mod and normally the commandos players play the mods for the new maps since it is something quite difficult to do.
On my mod I will not upload file until it is finished or very advanced, as modders you will know that we are always trying to look for the best.

You will get better results, if you use some other games night maps, like Desperados.

While those maps are absolutely great - Robin of Sherwood also had night maps, by the way - they do work with lightsources and illumination (or lack thereof) of objects. Unless you can use a similar effect ingame, it's going to be hard to get the proper lighting effects on objects that are either in or out of the light. This applies specifically of course for moving units, as they can enter and leave lightsources as they move about.
