So on zero hours using gentools

I can connect to any game and play no problem.

My friend can connect to any game and play no problem.

We can both try join the same game but I do not connect whilst my friend gets through no problem.

When we try to play with each other no matter who creates the games with multiple settings then it wont start.

Every time the failure is checking probe then 'unable to connect to other player(s)'.

I ran the connection tools but it clearly isn't a connection to the server issue as I have been able to play multiple games online with randoms.

I have checked both our usernames and passwords and there are no clashes.

We are both in different parts of the UK.

Any idea on what could be happening here?!

Thank you in advance

I don't really have any suggestions there except that it could be a routing issue (but that would be strange if it carried on).       Anyone else have an idea?

I don't have a solution neither. But I have the very same issue with one player as well. While we both are able to play online we can't connect to each other.

I guess any of you could try to use a VPN service when you would like to play together. That might solve the problem.

We did have the same problem.

It sound's weird but do one or both of you guy's use Microsoft Onedrive?

Me and a friend did both use Onedrive. After close the Onedrive proces true Task manager the connection problem was gone.

Give it an try, I hope it helps!

Never heard of this before...

Would love to hear if this has solved the issue for the OP, so we can update the common issues and solution pinned topic.

If i'm right it was something that they use the same port number.

Well I hope it's works. A restart and closes the Onedrive proces dit work for us :)
