Hello.

 

I have had no issues logging in, but my firend could not.

 

I told him to follow my steps and he still was not able to.

 

We have different versions - I have the original CD from way back and he has the online version from Origin.

 

When he starts he gets the error message - "This game version is not compatible with regular Generals 1.8. That means most online gameswill be logged for access. Close the game and wait for general updater to fix binary file."

 

What can we do?

Probelm. Solved.

 

It was a simple task of pressing enter during the start up screen for the update to take effect.
