Every time I try and launch command and conquer red alert 3 the launcher idles for a moment, then the symbol of red alert 3 appears for around 15 seconds then goes away, the game doesn't load correctly at all, it isn't due to it minimizing as alt enter doesn't work, this only occurs when command and conquer online is open or is hooked to red alert 3, I am using the steam version. Is there anyway to fix this?

Have you checked if there could be an anti-virus app interfering with the launcher?

Checked and disabled it temporarily, has the same issue, it seems it doesn't even attempt to launch red alert, I believe it has something to do with the launcher having difficulty, are there any other suggestions?

To add to this, this error only occurs when command and conquer online is installed and hooked / launched.

Update.
I found a solution to this issue (Red alert 3 steam version)
The issue seems to be related to the launching of the game, so a work around is to disable the hook and launch red alert 3, then launch command and conquer online.
