I have RA3 through Steam, did the hook up with cnc online as described in the documentation.

I wanted to play online: enter my email, server password, click login, and in a few seconds get this "Could not connect to the backend server" error.
I have never tried playing online before.

Operating system: Windows 10

CNCOnline_Log.txt:

----- C&C:Online Launcher Start -----
Game: Red Alert 3
Red Alert 3 Install Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Command and Conquer Red Alert 3\
Started game with: "RA3.exe "
Caught CREATE_PROCESS_DEBUG_EVENT from Red Alert 3. Detaching...
Found game.dat process. PID 3572
*** Starting CA public key patching routine ***
CA public key is expected value.
Successfully patched CA public key.
*** Starting hostname hooking routine ***
Injecting DLL into game.dat process...
Result of injection: Code -1073741582

Other notes: I used to have an older version of RA3 on my computer, it wasn't from Steam. Could it cause some problems? I removed the Red Alert 3 folder from the AppData/Roaming folder to make sure it won't use some old settings.

Please help, I really wanted to play this online.
Thanks!

This might be a bit simpel and not work, but it worth a shoot if you have not tryed it,

uninstall the game and c&c online rember to unhook the game

then install the game again and c&c online

hook the game again and see if that sorts it out.

it might be some files has been missing or some files beeing curpted, that you cant find or looks okay.

sorry for any grammer mistakes:

Please could you open Windows PowerShell (type PowerShell at the start menu) and in the window type and enter

Test-NetConnection peerchat.server.cnc-online.net -port 6667

Then post the output in here.

Alright, that was a successful connection.    Let's try this. I have sent you a PM with a solution which we're testing. If anyone else wants that solution to try, please make your own topic and post your error log.
