Hello I am a returning player from 2 years ago and beyond , I have brandnew hard drive (HD) and I'm running on windows 10 operating system. I installed RA3 by disk and it runs fine, installed the CNC online launcher I get a "CA public key patching routine failed"

on my old HD I would get that message every time I launched the game but it never prohibited me from connecting to the servers.

I already made a CNC server (from the past it still exists ) I use the server login password, email, and user name, but when I try to connect online the game freezes for about 2 minutes and then I get a message "Failed to connect to servers please make sure you have an active internet connection" (I'm obliviously connected to the internet)

I don't know why this is happening did I miss a certain step? I already claimed my nickname 2 years ago and did ALL registration

what could be wrong with this new device ? I really want to use my already existing account

I feel like something needs to be reactivated but I don't know. I've took the time to look at other strings on here but none exactly close to my dilemma.

what should I do?

Not sure if the DVD version could potentially give specific problems like this.

If you can, I'd suggest activating the product code on Origin if you happen to have an Origin account.

Swapping to Origin might also mean you have to reinstall the game through there.

I am a steam user, for me it works perfectly fine.

Though issues on Origin and Steam appears to vary a lot per user.
